Opening - Head- Indirect tax for a leading MNC, Bangalore. - This position is responsible for the Company's indirect tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for various indirect taxes. - S/He works with businesses, service providers, and other tax professionals in carrying out his or her responsibilities. - Advising business on indirect tax implications for various contracts Identifying productivity initiatives and optimizing indirect tax costs - Technical knowledge of customs, GST, State VAT, State excise Acts Exposure to complex business environments - Experience of working in a matrix organisation - Risk management and controls, budgeting, financial analysis - Supervising filing of indirect tax (GST, VAT etc.) returns and timely payment of indirect taxes - 12-15 years- experience in indirect taxes profile in consulting and industry audit experience during article ship - CA or MBA only apply
