Head - Indirect Materials & Services Sourcing - Automobile/Manufacturing

A leading multinational organization into automotive industry is looking for a Strategic Sourcing professional in a Leadership role who can lead the Indirect Material & Services. He/ She should have in depth understanding of the category and outstanding business acumen with 15+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:
 
- Lead sourcing for the Indirect Materials & Services categories. The primary responsibility being that of identifying company's needs, and suitably designing and executing sourcing strategies, both short and long term.

- Develop supplier partnerships to align with the category strategies and drive supplier performance excellence.

- Secure supplier selection and execute contracts to ensure commitment on cost, quality and delivery and mitigate potential risks associated with SLAs

- Drive cost reduction initiatives across the Indirect categories for improved commercials and SLAs

- Design and optimize the sourcing processes across Indirect Materials & Services categories to drive efficiency

- Manage the category team members by providing direction and mentoring in order to effectively execute the category goals and ready the team members for future roles

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering from premier engineering institutes; MBA is desirable

- 15+ years of relevant functional experience

- Experience in industries such as Automobile, White goods or related manufacturing industries
