Head - Human Resources - Tech Startup - XLRI/TISS/XIMB/SCMHRD
A exciting and well funded start up is hiring for a Director of HR / Head of HR who will work closely with the company's leadership and the CHRO to partner them to work towards the company's goals.
Responsibilities :
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
- Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
Education and Experience :
- 10+ years of experience in a generalist/HRBP role, with some experience in heading HR, thorough knowledge across all aspects of HR and should have experience in working with senior stakeholders at the current company
- Ability to roll up their sleeves and get the job done
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
