Our Client - A leading renewable energy organization is looking to hire a Head HR ( Sr GM ) to be based out of their corporate office in Mumbai. They have multiple plants across Gujarat & Maharashtra.

This person will report into the CHRO and will team of ( 4 to 5 ) members to manage ( HRBP, Plant HR, IR Manager, etc )

Location - Mumbai

CTC Range - 60 to 70 LPA (Including 15 - 18% Variable)

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.

- Manage employee relations, including resolving issues, grievances, and conflicts.

- Develop and implement performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and engagement.

- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.

- Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effective operations.

- Oversee the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs.

- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the market.

- Ensure the implementation and application of agreed upon Company HR directives, policies, processes, systems and programs and strive for best practices in the standardization, harmonization and alignment of local HR activities, but always with the business requirements in mind.

- Execute effective local Talent Management (TM) initiatives in line with the country and global TM strategy to attract, identify, develop and retain the right employees and to maintain a powerful talent pipeline.

- Prepare, facilitate and follow up Personnel & Organization Conference (POC) so to enable the line management to develop the capabilities of the employees to the mid-to-long-term business needs.

- Manage labor law/litigation in close collaboration with HRBP and IR Expert ensuring adherence to applicable laws and Company rules.

- Contribute for all employee relations related to their supporting teams and in doing so ensures full compliance with applicable employment legislations.

- Support, and lead if required, organizational changes (restructuring, mergers, acquisitions and divestments) providing appropriate solutions to the business from the HR perspective.

- Collaborate with HR Expert and contribute to HR marketing/employer branding thus ensuring that company will be an employer of choice.

- Support line managers in communicating HR issues properly to employees and employees' representatives by means of standard instruments.

- Counsel and support business managers in the resolution of specific individual local HR issues, e.g. disciplinary actions incl. face-to-face meetings with managers/employee/works' council representatives, application of early retirement programs with execution of individual cases, lay-off employees incl. negotiation of severance payments.

Qualifications:

- Master's Business Administration, or related field;

- Minimum of 15-18 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Should have experience working in a Plant & Corporate Setup.

- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with stakeholder management.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Experience working in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
