We have a mandate for a Head HR Role for a growing organization based in Mumbai - this firm is an industry body commissioned under the Govt. of India and is supported by most large media houses.
The incumbent will be responsible for leading the human resources function for the organization with a growing employee base which has reached 90+ employees.
He / She will be responsible for setting up the whole HR department as per the strategic business objectives and implementing key processes across the employee life cycle.
Responsibilities will include:
- Work with the Line Function Head(s), translate the Unit's Business plans into HR strategic and operational plans for the Business.
- Provide strategic and tactical workforce planning and lead recruitment efforts across departments and levels in alignment with the Business plan.
- Deliver robust talent management and development initiatives to ensure talent development, succession planning, employee engagement and performance management.
- Design the compensation strategy and support business units in implementing the same. Collaborate with managers in distribution of merit increase.
- Ensure development and execution of HR policies and procedures, and act as expert on managing all employee related queries and grievances.
- Review compliance of various HR process, policies and modify / amend where required.
