Leading Manufacturing company with multiple facilities spreading pan India is hiring for a HR Head for their up coming Greenfield plant.
Position Overview: The HR Head will be responsible for establishing and leading the Human Resources function in a Greenfields bulk chemical plant. This role involves strategic HR planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. The HR Head will play a crucial role in shaping the company culture and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
KRA's & Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Planning & HR Technology
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify workforce needs and plan for talent acquisition and retention.
- Exposure to HRIS like SAP-SF or Darwin Box or any other HR ERP will help. Latest in HR Chat-bots and HR gamification modules for effective on boarding will be a plus.
2. Talent Acquisition & Retention:
- Design and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-tier Manufacturing talent.
- Establish effective on boarding processes for new hires.
- Achieve annual recruitment targets for key positions.
- Maintain employee turnover below industry benchmarks.
3. Employee Engagement:
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Conduct regular surveys to measure and improve employee morale.
- Have a clear annual employee engagement plan to execute focusing on employee retention and reduction in attrition.
4. Employee Relations(IR):
- Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Implement policies and procedures that promote a healthy and inclusive workplace culture.
- Exposure to Wage agreements & long-term settlements will help.
5. Talent Management & Performance Management:
- Implement a robust Talent management process from Day 1 with good Succession planning for Critical positions. Exposure to 9-box PP matrix will be helpful.
- Design and implement performance management systems to drive employee development and productivity. Exposure to BSC will help.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
6. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills both functional and leadership.
- Facilitate leadership development initiatives with focus on Talent pool.
- Measure Training effectiveness through Kirk Patrick model.
7. Compensation and Benefits:
- Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Exposure to Compensation linked various retention tool will be helpful.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
8. Organizational Development:
- Drive initiatives for organizational growth and effectiveness.
- Implement change management strategies when necessary.
9. Health and Safety:
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure a safe working environment.
- Implement health and safety policies and procedures.
- Exposure to 5S, Six Sigma will be a plus.
10. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Mitigate HR-related risks through effective policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Master's in Human Resources preferably from reputed institutes.
- Proven experience as an HR leader in the chemical manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and industry trends.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
