Position Title : Head HR Location : Chennai Specifics of Position: Key Job Elements The Key Job Elements Include: - Act as a business partner to the Companies India executive team. Lead and coach business leaders and assist in the development of robust HR strategies and plans to support continued business growth. - Direct and lead the full spectrum of strategic and operational human resources activities and processes. - Facilitate organizational development and change management programs in order to bring the organization to the next level of competency. - Administer policy and manage such human resources activities as recruitment, onboarding, compensation, community relations, employee engagement, benefits, training &amp; development and employee services. Other responsibilities may include international service personnel, office administration and facilities, security, company vehicles, etc. - Oversee compliance to all laws and statutes related to Human Resources including contractors and contractual employees. - Oversee salary administration and payroll and assist in the development and administration of compensation and benefit programs - Administer Employee Insurance Benefit programs (Group Insurance, Mediclaim, personnel-accident Policy &amp; Workmen compensation policy. - Administer performance review program and cultural change initiatives - Formulate, develop and lead training and management development programs - Coordinate Exit process and conduct Exit interviews - Oversee international personnel, facilities, security, and export control administration - Responsible for the management of canteen, health and safety program, medical facilities (occupational health services) for the employees Required : - 7+ years of HR Management experience, - Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving ability - Strong background &amp; experience in local labor laws and compliance issues relating to industrial employment - Strong oral and written English communication skills - High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others - High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex - Strong organizational and prioritization skills - Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and adhere to strict confidentiality - Experience with working in a multi-cultural &amp; diverse environment - Strong employee relations skills - Experience in a union free Manufacturing environment Qualifications Educational Qualifications Include: - Experience in a MNC environment - Experience in a matrix reporting relationship - Language skills : Tamil &amp; English - Durable Goods Manufacturing Industry - HR Professional Certification (Strongly preferred) Desired : - Knowledge on TPM / TQM - Exposure to Skill / Competency Mapping as per QMS / ISO standards.
