Our client is a leading producer of excellent quality writing and printing paper, and a leading manufacturer of tissue and board, as well as Rayon Grade Pulp (RGP) products. The company is ranked in the top 10 paper mills in India. With a production volume of half a million tonne per annum, our client is the largest single location manufacturing facility in India and is awarded with National energy efficient unit award.
The company is looking at a dynamic and action oriented HR head who will work closely with the CEO/MD and drive HR transformation in the company. You will be expected to help the MD to reinvent the organisation and bring about a cultural change while keeping the core values intact.
1) Managing the end to end HR function for the organization (including the plant)
2) Execute Manpower Planning and Budgeting to have a roadmap for recruitment assignments
3) Provide leadership on HR issues such as reward strategy, employee relations, talent and performance management, organizational development/change, culture, leadership and learning
4) Bring forth innovative HR practices in the day to day functioning of the plant.
5) Manage the career planning and development plans for a staff span of more than xxxx people (including blue collar workers)
6) Be the interface between the employees and the management with focus on helping solve work related problems, interpreting policies
7) Provide leadership and functional expertise for HR elements including thought leadership on transfer of processes and work, and resulting and people impacts
8) Manage retention of employees, employee morale and commitment through employee engagement activities
9) Keep ears to the ground and reach out to all employees through communication with employees at regular intervals to gather insights @ workplace and feed them back appropriately to the leadership team of the organisation
10) Provide employee development and counselling assistance to employees /team members to enhance employee performance and productivity
11) Act as a business partner and provide dashboards/analytics to business heads/department heads to help them have a pulse of their team.
12) Drive the implementation of the people strategy, performance culture and change management projects
13) Ensure compliance with all Security, Safety, Health & Environment and regulatory requirements as detailed in the Company's Policies
14) Be part of all key Top Management meetings to formulate Strategies for effective People Management.
15) Design, update and share SOPs of all HR processes; update HR policies in line with the business and organisation requirement
16) Identify Training Needs within the ogranisation, Develop and implement training strategies.
