HR Head - Laminates Industry
Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Forecast HR needs and develop workforce plans to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Build a strong employer brand to attract top talent in the laminates industry.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues.
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
- Promote a positive work environment and foster a culture of respect and inclusion.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
- Recognize and reward high performers to motivate and retain talent.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to support their professional growth and development.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning initiatives within the organization.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Conduct regular benchmarking studies to ensure salary and benefits offerings remain competitive in the market.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation and proactively address any compliance issues.
- Work with legal counsel as needed to resolve employment-related disputes and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR leader in the laminates industry or related manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications
