The desired incumbent should be recognized as a hands-on leader in developing people practices. Individuals with 15+ years of progressive experience with a keen interest in developing people practices are suited for the role.

- Strong business acumen to help build people strategies and processes in line with the organization's business objectives.
- Strong knowledge of HR Strategy, Systems & Processes.
- Strong understanding of Organization Development, Compensation and Benefits, Talent Acquisition and Management.
- Must be able to effectively retain employees, by finding newer and innovative ways of engaging employees; and must be able to groom employees to be potential leaders of tomorrow through succession planning.
- Team Leadership : Good team builder and player by demonstrating the involvement of the team in decision-making.
- Collaboration & Influencing : Active engagement with colleagues across functions
- Excellent presentation skills necessary to effectively compile, communicate, update, persuade and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills to effectively work with a variety of individuals, across departments and geographies.
