About our Client : Our client is a leading conglomerate within the infrastructure space. They are in the process of looking for a Head of HR for one of their large businesses based in Mumbai.

Job Description: Reporting into the Group Head HR and managing a team of 10, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the end to end HR function for the organization including contractual workforce and unions based out of Mumbai

- Provide leadership on HR issues such as reward strategy, employee relations, talent and performance management, organizational development/change, culture, leadership and learning

- Bringing forth innovative HR practices in the day to day functioning

- Managing the career planning and development plans for a staff span of more than 1500 people (including blue collar workers)

- Be the interface between the employees and the management with focus on helping solve work related problems, interpreting policies

- Provide leadership and functional expertise for HR elements including thought leadership on transfer of processes and work, and resulting and people impacts

- Managing retention of employees, employee morale and commitment through employee engagement activities

- Drive the implementation of the people strategy, performance culture and change management projects

- Ensure compliance with all Security, Safety, Health & Environment and regulatory requirements as detailed in the Company's Policies

The Successful Candidate:

- You will come with 15-20 years of experience with exposure to working within the manufacturing sector for at least 10+ years.

- Exposure to managing multiple unions is a must have.

- You will demonstrate depth in driving the HR strategy and the ability to partner closely with business on ensuring high engagement levels within the organization.
