Position - Head HR

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide advice and guidance to the Executive Board and managers on employment matters; influencing management and the leadership around the people agenda to maximize service performance.

- Consult with line management and identify HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the Business leaders to develop solutions, programs and policies.

- Build and develop the right culture by ensuring that values are clearly percolated to the lowest level and demonstrated in behaviors.

- Creates a high-performance company culture, motivates and facilitates team execution by inspiring employees to perform to their full potential.

- Partner with stakeholders and business partners in ensuring that best practices are being adopted, ensuring the delivery of projects as required as well as ensuring that key deliverables are met within the specified timelines.

- Ensure key stakeholders are informed / consulted on relevant changes such as restructures, redundancies and retirements etc.

- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

- Coach the departmental heads and management in performance management processes, compensation and remuneration programs, recruitment practices, and management decision making.

- Design, develop, and execute recruitment plans and talent sourcing strategies for talent attraction, selection, and successful recruitment of potential talent to drive the achievement of the business's overall objectives

- Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR matters, supporting managers in dealing with complex work, performance, attendance and employee relations issues.

- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

- Manage health and safety issues in your area of responsibility in line with the relevant section(s) of the relevant Health and Safety Policy.

- Comply with the Employee Code of Conduct, Data Protection and information security policies at all times.

- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.

- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient with using HRMS and other Office tools.

Education and Experience:

- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience of managing all aspects of employee lifecycle, of which at least 7 years should be in a management capacity.

- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, diversity, performance management, and compliances.
