Essential Requirements :
1. MSW - HR (Full Time Course) / Full time MBA from a reputed institute, with HR as a specialization. Degree in law would be an added advantage.
2. Minimum years of experience - 15 years, with at least the last five years in a leadership role, in a manufacturing organisation. A few years of experience in ITeS environment would be desirable but not essential
Position Summary :
The role holder will be responsible to develop HR strategy, initiate and implement action plans to align the function to the business. He should be familiar with HR policies, processes and systems and should constantly review these to meet the changing Organisational needs and employee expectations.
Major Responsibilities :
- Critical recruitments towards ramping up employee head count based on need
- Work very closely all functional heads on Organisational redesign and restructuring
- Closely coordinate with Global Corporate HR to implement the Group's HR initiatives, which shall include talent acquisition and retention, an effective performance management system, career planning for critical talents, learning and development etc
- Work very closely with the Plant HR Heads to establish and maintain a transparent and consistent industrial relations climate
- Creating and maintaining a - Best Place To Work - environment
- Constantly monitor and improve employee engagement and employee productivity
- Coordinate with the concerned overseas managers within Shared Services Centre and R & D, to understand and meet their requirements in terms of recruitment, induction & training, employee retention and a work culture that is prevalent in similar environments
Essential Skills & Competencies :
- Functional knowledge to handle the above responsibilities
- Excellent communication - both spoken and written
- Good inter-personal skills
- Ability to work as a team
- High level of business orientation
- Strong result orientation
- Ability to collaborate with the senior management team
- Familiarity with MNC work culture and a matrix reporting relationship would be an advantage
