Head HR - Fintech Startup
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee and manage the recruitment process for technical, offline (field) organization, and non-technical corporate roles
- Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payments to all employees
- Plan and coordinate employee appraisal and assessment projects to ensure fair and objective evaluations
- Manage employee complaints and redressal process to maintain a healthy and productive work environment
- Plan and execute employee engagement and R&R activities to improve employee morale and productivity
- Support the implementation of outsourcing of payroll and other HR functions as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to HR management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR policies and procedures are aligned with business goals and objectives
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the HR team
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in HR management roles
- Experience in funded startups that have an offline to online angle (likes of Hyper-local Delivery, Logistics marketplace, etc. are some of the examples) is critical
- Experience of handling employees with salaries less than Rs.30,000 pm working on field roles such. Grey collared/ blue collared employee handling experience is a great advantage
- Experience in handling organizations with large employee base (> 1000 employees) is also a good to have
- In-depth knowledge of HR laws and regulations in India
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders
