Head - Human Resources - Cable Manufacturing Industry (10-20 yrs)

Sound experience in the handling various HR / IR function : -

- Employee engagement and Development, Employee Welfare initiatives,Recruitment and selection, HR policies, Learning and development, Employees Relation, Performance Management System, CSR.

- Labour Law Management, Resolving Employee Grievances & Disputs, Strike , Lockout, Statutory compliances and payroll administration, Contract Labour Management, Long Term Wage Settlements, Industrial Relations and handling labour and Unions Legal matters. Healthy Liaisoning with government agencies. Dealing with Unions, Strike.

- Green Field project development of Manufacturing Industry

- Plan, Develop and Implement Progressive people processes

- Talent Acquisition, Development & Planning

- Preparation and its implementation of Manpower budget as per business module & in consultation with HOD's of functions.

- Planning & Implementing structured orientation/induction program to fast track new employees - integration with mainstream regular employees

- Workforce deployment in collaboration with cross functional team (Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Training and Recruitment) to identify on the headcount requirements, the hiring plan for the same and then allocating the resources based on departmental specifications

- Understanding business realities predicting emerging challenges and suggesting remedies; perspective planning and predicting manpower requirements and challenges; monitoring organization buildup; evolving organization structure; SWOT analysis; monitoring critical success factors and X Matrix.

Employee Engagement:

- Creating opportunities i.e improving job content and enrichment; creating communication forums; perspective building workshops; work life balance; promoting joy at work; employee engagement survey; open house with senior leadership and kick off meets.

- Employee Engagement through implementation of Total Quality Management. TPM, TQM,5S,Kaizen,Idea Scheme,OPL,SLA etc.

- Conduct open houses and ensure skip level meetings are held. Redress employee queries and grievances within the agreed turnaround time. Implement "Fun at Workplace" and other employee engagement activities.

- Ensuring healthy employee-management relations in the organization, by encouraging workers to voice their opinions on common platforms and promoting employee involvement in improvement activities.

HR Policies and procedure:

- Implementation of HR development plans as per the company policy and ISO system.

- Helping the Corporate Team in creating policies in line with the requirement of the Business prospect.

- Implementing policies across the SBU as per Corporate guidelines

- Standardizing reports and policies for all the plants & units.
