About our Client: Willis is a multinational risk advisor, insurance and reinsurance brokerage company. They operate out of 400+ offices across 120 countries and employ ~20,000 employees globally. Willis is looking to recruit a Head of HR for Willis in Mumbai, India. This individual will play a pivotal leadership role in being responsible for the HR strategy and operations, and leading the local HR work stream for a large multi-year business transformation/ offshoring program. The role will act as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor reporting directly to the CEO of India with a matrix line to the Global HR Director for Corporate, and will be a contributing member of the India Executive Management Team.

Job Description: Reporting into the India CEO and Global HR Director, your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Partnership: (35%)

- Leading the India HR team for a large multi-year business transformation/ offshoring program

- Develop a short and long term HR strategy that enables the business and is aligned to the Group Talent strategy

- Drive the implementation of the people strategy, performance culture and other major change projects

- Enable the effective diagnosis of business issues, strategy and goals, turning these into People Plans, with integrated interventions and solutions that deliver against key business priorities which drive a high performance culture centered around the Willis Values

- Provide leadership, in partnership with local teams and the HR COE, on HR issues such as reward strategy, employee relations, talent and performance management, organizational development/change, culture, leadership and learning

Program Leadership: (35%)

- Manage all HR aspects of Operational Improvement Program (""OIP"") locally, including project planning, execution, quality and budget

- Provide leadership and functional expertise for HR elements of the (OIP), including thought leadership on transfer of processes and work, and resulting and people impacts

Leadership & Capability Development: (20%)

- Provide vision and leadership to the Willis India HR team, ensuring alignment with top down group and local objectives and deliverables, identification and support of developmental objectives and activities, and providing coaching and support to build world class capability in the team

Governance & Risk Management: (10%)

- Ensure compliance with all Security, Safety, Health & Environment and regulatory requirements as detailed in the Company's Policies

The Successful Candidate:

- You will come with 15-20 years of experience as an HR Generalist within the Financial services sector.

- Exposure to managing large scale global change projects and driving organization restructuring in the process of leading a large offshoring program is essential for this role.

- Experience in managing global stakeholders and partnering closely with business is required.

- Full time MBA from a Tier 1 Institute and exceptional presentation and communication skills are desired.
