The position is with a renowned Solar EPC company in Pune.

The ideal candidate could be from a Multinational / IT / Renewable Energy Company with at least 15 years of experience in INR 500 crores turnover organisation.

Role in brief:

The role of Head Human Resources & Administration (Head HR & Admin) shall oversee all personnel-related matters of the organization, alignment of employees with the organization's business objectives, and ensure the creation as well as the implementation of policies that foster efficient management and development of Human Resources.

Responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with the senior leadership team to prepare and implement strategy related to staffing, recruiting, development and retention to meet the organization's objectives

- Developing and implementation of policies, processes, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and identification of improvement areas

- Developing policies relating to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, performance management and appraisal, talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, work culture, employee engagement, occupational health and safety, and training and development

- Oversee the staffing and recruiting needs, implementing best practices for talent hiring and retention

- Maintaining knowledge of relevant industry trends, best practices, regulatory changes in human resources management, employment laws, and communicating the changes in policy, practice, and resources to the top management

- Developing and implementing Competency Mapping program to identify Career Development & Succession planning for the organization's sustenance and growth

- Coaching & counselling of employees and when required

- Ensuring statutory & legal compliances as per existing governmental, labour and legal requirements

- Developing and managing internal HR systems, analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) and benchmarking with industry peers and across relevant regions

- Periodic review of organization design for structural improvements to meet mid-long term goals

- Design and implement Organization Development interventions to improve the organization's functioning through the participation of the organizational members and Leadership Development

- Developing and controlling the departmental budget for HR & Admin

- Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff

- Responsible for accurate and timely record-keeping and reporting of all aspects of accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, cash applications, collections, fixed asset accounting, withholding tax, tax filings, and payroll)

- Ensure documents such as Standard Operating Practices (SOPs) for own function and Intra Departmental process integration is in order to improve internal efficiency

- Reporting of HR-related policy changes proposed or declared by regulatory authorities

- Support management in decision making

- Related policies and procedures preparation

- All other HR & Admin related duties, and

- Support HR due diligence - HR restructuring and consolidation during Mergers / Acquisitions / de-mergers / divestment initiatives by the organization
