- This emerging NBFC in the MSME space is co-founded by an ex Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and an ex Managing Director at BCG. The company is Mumbai based, licensed and set for fast paced growth with 80 employers on-board in less than a year of setting up operations. The company is looking for a Head of HR to lead the organisation's HR requirements across talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, talent management etc.

- The successful candidate will be someone who is excited by the idea of setting up processes and systems from scratch and can thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a thorough understanding of the business and its performance drivers in order to develop and deliver effective HR programs and practices

- Participate in strategic planning for the organization. Provide leadership and consulting support to executives and management on matters like recruitment, goal-setting, developing and setting up policies etc.

- Employee Lifecycle: Supervise the complete employee life cycle encompassing, but not limited to, building the employer brand, crafting the talent acquisition strategy, developing the framework for employee selection, on-boarding, compensation and payroll management, formulating career development, identifying high potential talent, exit formalities, statutory formalities and compliances

- Performance Management System: Drive organization-wide end to end performance management cycle comprising developing the strategic framework for KRA setting, career planning, appraisals reviews etc. Also partner with the employees, managers and other business leaders to address performance gaps and facilitate discussions/process to evaluate appropriate action leading to filling the gaps

- Learning and Development: Identify the training needs across the organisation and execute the training program across various modules and talent gaps

- Employee Engagement: Lead and drive organizational & engagement diagnosis through structured initiatives like surveys, employee conversations and employee engagement programs etc.

- Employee Relations: Serve as the point of contact for employment relations; Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required, while promoting HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace

- Implement functional HRMS and internal databases across departments and oversee payroll and performance evaluation systems

- Team building: Build, mentor and lead the HR team ensuring effective relationships with stakeholders and operational efficiencies

Qualifications/Requirements

- 12-15 years experience in HR with at least 2 years in a leadership role

- Prior experience in BFSI is a must; some experience with a start-up is an added plus

- PG/MBA in HR from a reputable institute is a must

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with an adaptive mind-set and ability to be able to apply structure and strategy to growing the company culture

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders

- Be updated on HR best practices in the industry

- Ability to lead, mentor and grow the team as required
