- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy, develop job descriptions and specifications as per business requirements, finalize the sourcing mix, manage end to end selection process. Ensure management of seamless joining formalities for all candidates.
- Plan human resource requirements in conjunction with other departmental managers. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Articulate policies for people management including guidelines for benefits, rules and regulations and procedures, development programs, selection, performance evaluation, etc. and ensure their implementation. Ensure that continuous upgradation of the of HR policies and practices are done in line with the industry wide best practices and business needs
- Ensure timely processing payroll and dues for the employees and complete full & final settlement for the employees who are leaving. Ensure statutory compliance in all HR related areas. Liaison with key statutory authorities, agencies and other governmental and non-governmental agencies etc. for the same.
- Ensure the rollout for the performance management/ appraisal activities as per the timelines. Guide managers on the process of evaluating employees, setting goals, conducting objective. Monitor compliance to performance appraisal process and highlight outliers and cases of non-compliance for appropriate action. Collate performance appraisal reports and analyse data to prepare substantive reports
- Build relationships with employees across functions in order to evaluate/ enhance effectiveness of human resources function.
- Ensure that adequate support is given to all employees by ensuring that sufficient opportunities are given for career advancement and personal development
