Head - Human Resource - Education - South Zone (Female)
Primary Purpose: Effectively lead the human resource function for 10 SBU's thus being an effective catalyst in the growth of the organization.
Key Accountabilities /Activities:
Talent Acquisition (50%):
- Create an effective manpower plan for the organization.
- Manage the talent acquisition for Zonal and SBU's - i.e 10 Schools
- Ensure the hiring MIS in kept updated at all times for Management review.
Performance Appraisals (10%):
- Effectively implement and manage PMS processes that would assist the top management in terms of half-yearly and yearly performance appraisals.
- Compile all data needed for the annual salary review, and the performance appraisal analysis.
KRA and KPI Formulation (5%):
- Formulate KRAs and KPIs and competencies required to evaluate employees in accordance with company's goals.
- Design the JDs for all Zonal and Centre employees.
Employee Relations and Engagement (10%):
- Create multi-level engagement and communication platforms to build strong employee-organization connect
- Liaising and co-ordination with the senior management and cross functional teams in addressing various people related issues and implementation of the issues through appropriate level in the organization.
- To plan organize and assist in effective implementation of HR policies to improve HR performance and optimizing employee productivity.
- Deal with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills
- Plan various initiatives for employee engagement and roll out yearly engagement Calendar
New Employee Orientation (5%):
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation for Zonal and centre employees to foster positive attitude towards Company goals.
Employee Separation (5%):
- To manage the employee separation process ie. conducts exit interviews and analyze reasons behind separations.
- Analysis of attrition reports and share action plan to curb attrition.
Process Improvement (5%):
- Complete Implementation of ERP tool to standardize the HR process.
- Monitor the progress of the action plans and through ongoing engagement and reviews
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Payroll (10%):
- To manage timely and accurate monthly payroll data consolidation activity to ensure salary inputs are shared with the Finance team on time.
- Work Relations
- Reporting to AGM - HR for all functional as well as admin issues
- Interfacing with all CO, Zonal and Centre level employees (24 X 7 work environment).
- Interfacing with members of the HR Team.
- Interface with external vendors for any functional issues
- External Talent Acquisition interface during the course of all talent acquisition activities
- Interfacing with Finance, Technology and payroll department for employee, payroll and any other operational issues.
- Interfacing with other team members of people practices team for all functional as well as operational issues.
Desired Competencies:
- Proven research and analytical skills ability to make recommendations based on information gathered and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high growth and dynamic business environment. Ability to deal with ambiguity, understand business requirements and translate those into Recruiting efforts
- High focus on outcomes and ability to stand up to committed deliverables.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills - ability to drive consensus in decision making, especially in conflicting situations.
- Sharp analytical capabilities, around - data interpretation, analyzing situations and driving actions most suited to achieve high impact outcomes
Qualification:
- Full time MBA will be preferred but not mandatory.
- Advanced Excel Skills is an essential required competency.

- High Proficiency in Ms. Excel skills. Advanced Excel Skills preferred.
- Adept to work in a fast paced business environment and deliver within tight deadlines
Experience: 7-9 years as HR Generalist and Talent Acquisition role.
