Job Title: HR Head

Introduction :

Society for Advancement of Village Economy (SAVE) is today one of the foremost and most innovative Banking Correspondent (BC) organizations in India. SAVE already operates successfully as BC for State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of India (BoI) and Purvanchal Gramin Bank (PGB) providing important banking and financial services through SAVE's innovative and self-sustainable kiosk banking network of 4,273 branded kiosks across 18 states and 423 districts, serving 60 lakh clients.

As Head of HR for SAVE, the incumbent will identify and develop HR solutions based on business priorities and organizational analysis. The responsibilities will include consulting with all levels of management on employee engagement, staffing, compensation, employee development, organizational and change management issues. The incumbent in this position will partner with HR colleagues to develop and implement specific HR programs directly aligned to business strategy including: Talent Development, Year End Compensation Strategies, Employee Opinion Survey, Diversity initiatives, Performance Management and Mobility and Career Development. The incumbent in this position should have proven ability to lead a small 3-4 member's team of HR professionals, manage multiple stakeholders at HO and at regional level.

Roles & Responsibilities :

The incumbent, based in Gaya, will support a 122 employees spread across 18 States. The individual will be expected to work in strong partnership with the operations Teams to ensure appropriate alignment, linkage and leverage around the HR Strategy and people agenda across various geographic locations.

The key responsibilities shall include:

Employee engagement /retention :

- Design strategies in the business to help employees achieve work life balance.

- Facilitate and strengthen various employee engagement initiatives like People Committee, fun & charity, leadership offsite etc.

- Partner with the business in Climate Surveys/ Employee Polls and contribute to analyse the results and drive initiatives based on the findings

- Inculcate a culture of recognition and drive Rewards and Recognition

- Analyse attrition data and develop strategies to manage and reduce the attrition

- Communicate and implement HR policies and program in the business

Employee Development :

- In consultation with business managers identification & development of the leadership team and facilitate implementation in conjunction with the Training team

- Provide support to all training initiatives,

- Implement continuous education framework

- Facilitate employee mobility by assessing opportunities available vs. talent pool

- Support talent assessment and facilitate career management

Performance Management :

- Facilitate Performance Management & Employee Development

- Support business managers in compensation planning / decision process

People Development and Stakeholder Management :

- Lead and guide a team of HR professionals to put together integrated People Agenda for their respective clients

- Coach the team members to provide well rounded strategic HR solutions to the business

- Build strong long lasting relationship with all the stakeholders and partner with them to address People issues

Talent Acquisition :

- Accountability for recruitment for Business Correspondence businesses in SAVE

- Responsible for hiring strategy & working with the team for successful execution

- Develop campus relationship, hiring & branding strategies

- Create a robust strategy for hiring from Employee Referral, Job Portals & Direct channel

- Accountable for all financials like vendor fees, referral rewards, license fees etc related costs for Recruitment
