Looking for a strategic leader with 18-20 yrs exp for a Head - HSS position. The incumbent will be reporting into to the CEO and work closely with key stakeholders in the business and functions to achieve these goals. The incumbent will be leading the company's annual health, safety and environment plan with implementing health management programme.

The main part of this role will be dedicated to further developing and improving the group's HSS management systems and providing support in the implementation of these, as well as contributing to sharing lessons learned and best practices within the organization. A portion of the role will be focusing on building HSS culture and competence.

Key Responsibilities will include:

1. Establish and implement the HSS strategy based on reference practices and be an interface between the country and the various focal points.

2. Acting on the risk management plan, leading a team with technical expertise and providing appropriate technical support for operations, projects and construction.

3. Manage the health and safety management system in coordination with the O&M, project development, M&A and construction areas with the aim of aligning corporate policies and procedures and complying with current legislation.

4. Contribute in establishing a local HSS strategy with enhancing and routinising HSS reporting processes: reporting of HSS KPIs, incident reporting, sharing of best practices, lessons learned, and safety alerts.

5. Represent as an HSS SPOC for India and further improve and implement key HSS processes in alignment with the global policies: risk management, reporting, contractor management, investigations.

Ideal Candidate:

- Civil/Mechanical/Electrical + Advance diploma in Industrial Safety from reputed institute preferably from RLI/CLI. NEBOSH will be added advantage.

- Minimum 18-20 years of experience in heavy Civil construction industries with high HSS focus and maturity.

- Experience with International organizations and projects will be preferred.

- Knowledge and experience in HSS Management systems, risk management, investigation methods, acknowledged methods and IT tools/systems for HSS.

- Field/site experience from construction be an advantage.

- Hands on experience on implementation of IMS System.

- Proficient in handling senior teams, mobilize employees in different departments and be able to implement to organizational culture transformation processes.

- Experience with ISO 45001 is preferred,
