Roles and Responsibilities

Managerial Responsibilities:

- Mentoring and coaching the team members

- Identifying the training needs and providing appropriate training to the team

- Providing administrative support to the team

- Focusing on performance management, efficiency improvement and retention of team members

Functional Responsibilities:

- Employee life cycle processes (Hire to Retire process)

- Management of Payroll and remittance of statutory payouts

- Handling Payroll Accounting

- Own HR And Statutory compliance

- Provide Strategic leadership in organization level decisions

- Project management and transitions of new HRIS and next Gen HR Technology

- Creating monthly review and dashboards (Cost Budget/F&A/HR Ops Metrics/HR Scorecard)

- Involvement in process improvement and documentation

- Handling employee exceptions, audit and vendor reviews

- Collaborating with accounting and costing teams for payroll data processing

- Leading and designing employee friendly processes and policies

- Automation projects design and implementation

Functional Competencies

- Sound knowledge of compliance systems and processes

- Well versed with Finance and Accounting

- Knowledge of different policies, law and salary structuring

- Adept in Excel, Powerpoint tools

Behavioral Competencies:

- Leadership skills and strategic thinking

- Problem solving and analytical skills

- Process oriented and methodical approach

- Communication skills and good listening skills

- Assertive in nature, customer oriented and innovative mind-set

- HR team for policies and process settings

- IT team for automation projects

- Employees mainly for exceptions management

Nature or purpose of interaction HRMS Vendor, Payroll Vendor, other service providers & Govt. authorities, auditors.

- Monthly review and improvements in services

- Govt. mainly for meeting compliance requirements

- Auditors to manage internal and external audits
