- The HR business partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business unit.
- The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. It also involves communicating needs proactively with HR Centre of Excellence and business management. The HRBP should aim to develop integrated solutions across them.
- The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
- The position is required to work with HR team spread across global locations .
- The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
- Lead & drive key HR projects within the Market Area.
- Drive market area / global initiatives in strong partnership with SME areas like Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, Total Rewards and Learning & Development and seeks to develop integrated solutions
- Play an active role within the Market Area HR Leadership Team
- Provide expert advice and coaching to senior leaders and managers when appropriate
- Overseeing the HR for our JV company as an additional responsibility in India
- Lead the Employee Relationship and HR legal Issues for India
- Proven expertise in managing industrial relations, labor disputes and union settlements
- Strong people management experience and ability to groom / mentor team
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business Administration, HR management, or related field
- 15 - 18 years- experience in Human Resources
- Should display and uphold organizational ethics
- Understands and demonstrates business and financial acumen
- Strong understanding of Industrial Relations and labor laws of India is essential
- Prior experience of leading & managing a team
- Ability to understand the link between HR and business strategy and should have successfully translated it into relevant HR initiatives
- Ability to identify current market trends within HR that can be successfully implemented in organization.
- Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people
- Ability to successfully work in a matrixed, cross cultural environment
- Should demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Significant knowledge of HR policies and processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
