Head - Health/Safety & Environment - FMCG

Our renowned FMCG client based in Jeddah is currently recruiting for a Head of Health, Safety & Environment Manager The purpose of this role is to drive the HSE Culture across the manufacturing sites and corporate office to ensure a safe and accident free work environment. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and communication of all relevant HSE policies, whilst meeting annual Health, Safety and Environmental objectives which will be assessed via the performance management system.

Key Responsibilities in this role will include :

- Drive and support the Safety First culture within the area of responsibility.

- Develop the HSE Policies, Standards and Strategy for the Business that fully complies to local and international safety regulations and standards such ISO and OSHAS

- Identify and evaluate H&S risks and provide recommendations to the Senior Management teams to avoid, mitigate, or reduce the potential impact of these risks to the business.

- Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and assist in the design, implementation and management of company safety initiatives.

- Conduct regular analysis of accident & near miss trends and set in place preventative actions as required. Strategically review H&S matters and develop solutions and interventions to improve Divisional Health & Safety performance.

- Key skills and experience in this role will include

- Proven experience of leading the HS&E function, driving change management and improvement strategies in an FMCG environment (Food manufacturing would be looked upon favorably)

- 15+ years Experience in HSE preferably in Operations

- Certified in IOSH / NEBOSH Professional
