Our client is a global player in the automotive parts industry. It has 10 plants and several engineering centres in India. They are on an upward growth trajectory in India and to support their growth plans they are looking to hire an HSSE Head

Job Description

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager and managing a team of 5, you will be responsible for:

- Promoting a positive attitude and the incident free philosophy at the factories of this client

- Planning, directing and conducting periodic HSSE assessments of the site

- Identifying any gaps and coming up with solutions to eradicate the same

- Monitoring the work environment for unsafe acts or unsafe conditions as well as overseeing work place safety

- Interpreting HSSE regulations and requirements for site

- Overseeing that all rules and regulations that apply to the health and safety in the work place is met and adhered to by all working or entering the workplace environment.

- Training & leading a team of professionals for their future growth & development

Profile

Ideally, you will be an engineer/post graduate with around 15 years of experience in Health & Safety Function. Prior experience of having worked in manufacturing role will be an added advantage. You should have the experience of managing a large teams, and complex business operations on a daily basis. The client is looking for someone with excellent communication/interpersonal skills, with the ability of liaising with international stakeholders.
