Head - Global Taxation - CA - Pharma/BioTech

- Our client is a reputed group in the field of pharmaceutical and biotechnology headquartered in Mumbai, India. The company has manufacturing plants in India, UK, Ireland, France and US, and subsidiaries in US, UK, Ireland and France.

We are looking to appoint a Head - Global Taxation.

JOB OBJECTIVE:

- Responsible for entire Direct & Indirect Taxation, Tax Planning across globe

IDEAL CANDIDATE's PROFILE :

- Qualified CA with 15-22 years of experience out of which min. 5 years as head of Taxation, leading a professional team across geographies, experience of Tax Planning, International Taxation is critical.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Tax planning in Global arena

- Direct & Indirect Taxation - complete responsibility

- To support CFO in all Tax related matters, M&A, New businesses across India & all geographies

- Tax Assessments - India & All locations

- Handling Domestic & International Transfer Pricing

- Coordination with Tax Authorities

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

- Domain Knowledge - Expert understanding & hands on experience in Tax Planning in Large Indian MNC's

- Expert knowledge of Tax rules - Direct & Indirect

- Good / Excellent knowledge of SAP FICO, BPC

- Hands on Experience in Tax Assessments

- Knowledge of Pharma Industry - would be highly preferable

- Ability to Lead, Motivate team in order to drive performance

- Expertise in both verbal & written communication, Articulation - is must

JOB COMPLEXITIES:

- High dependence on SAP for reporting, hence requires Good / Excellent knowledge of SAP

- Regulatory Changes in India requires continues update of the same and planning of implementation of the same.

- Multi Tasking to address different objectives at a given point of time.

- Good Presentation skills, expertise in PowerPoint, Excel
