- Trained in Six Sigma / Lean

Skills & Experience

- 20+ Years of overall IT experience with 5 + years of experience in managing large scale IT Operations.

- Qualification - BE / B Tech Preferred

- Rich experience in IT Operations Tools and Process

- Good technical skills in IT Infrastructure areas, Enterprise Computing, End User Computing, Data / Voice Networking, Telecom Connectivity and Information Security Operational controls.

- Great People Management skills and Customer handling skills

- Driving Operational efficiency

Role Description:

The Global IT Operations Head will be responsible for managing IT Operations across HCL global locations, covering more than 1,00,000 employees. This position is based out of Noida, with primary responsibility of running efficient IT Infrastructure operations covering Enterprise Computing, End User Computing, Network (Data and Voice), Telecom connectivity and Information Security areas. He shall drive significant and constant service improvements through deploying talented people with using best in class Processes and Tools.

Responsibilities

- Taking over all Transitioned Projects under IT Operations framework (eg. ITIL)

- Running 24- 7 IT Infrastructure Operations

- Managing IT Operations as per ITIL Framework, Service Delivery and Service Support

- Driving Operational efficiency - Uptime, BAU costs

- Driving constant Service Improvement plans

- Focus on Standardization, Simplification, Automation and - First Time Right-

- Comprehensive CMDB management including Asset Life Cycle Management

- Publishing IT Metrics

- Managing BCP readiness and DR

- Driving Internal / External Customer Communication

- Supporting Internal and external IT Audits

- Managing Vendors / Service Providers

- Managing Customer Assurance

- Adherence to Company and Customer compliance requirements

- Delighting End User Experience
