Critical Competencies for Success

- Business Acumen: Knows how sales, marketing and operations businesses work and understands market forces. Simultaneous consideration of elements like market segments, competitors, related businesses, the economy, market psychology, etc. Knowledgeable in practices, trends, and information affecting his/her business and organization; knows the industry ecosystem and is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the enterprise and small and medium business marketplace. Analyzes and implements rather than just analyzes. Looks for principles that are repeatable.

- Building Effective Teams: Blends people into teams when needed; creates strong morale and spirit in his/her team; shares wins and successes; fosters open dialogue; lets people finish and be responsible for their work; defines success in terms of the whole team; creates a feeling of belonging in the team. Can team build across boundaries and with peers. Selects the right people for the team and has a strong ability to motivate others.

- Relationship skills inside and outside a complex organization The ideal candidate has demonstrated an ability to work across a matrixed environment by forming trusted relationships with key stakeholders and influencing their views and adoption of business strategies.

This individual will have a high degree of autonomy in setting the strategic direction/plans for its own organization (develops independently from manager, develops jointly with manager, implements strategy developed by manager).

- Ideal leader will conceive and build strategies and help develop and/or implement. Work through account definition and management.

- S/he will get involved in development of new generation capabilities and integrating acquired capabilities and scale up the solution portfolio to be offered. This will involve in working through verticals (BFSI, Sales, HealthCare and Commercial) in Capability building (Skills/Competencies)

- This Leader will manage multiple teams or programs across multiple countries (managing shore mix) and develop new locations for cost effective delivery.

Requirements

- Technology understanding around SDLC

- Strong know-how of ‘how’ technology is evolving

- Functional Expertise – Application Delivery and Strategy (Multiple geographies, multiple customers)

- Experience in Driving Strategy through the following routes

- Customer First

- Engage Others

- Innovate

- Minimum of 18 years of experience in Information Technology space

- Applications / Infrastructure / BPO

- Must have managed Countrywide Regional SW Programs (Multiple geographies)

- Engineering Degree in CS/ECE/EEE/MCA & MBA from a premier institution
