Head (General Manager) - Marketing & Brands (Pesticides) :

- Responsible for product marketing (Turnover/ Profitability) of Crop protection products. Design & implement product bundling, promotional activity, generate demand, analyse performance, market trends & drive action plans. Market info, pricing & MIS.

Key Accountabilities :

Marketing strategy :

- Responsible for developing a annual marketing plan (ATL/BTL activities) for the SBU

New Product Launch :

- Work with the business team right from supply chain, technical, manufacturing and logistics to develop an end to end launch plan and monitor the same in terms of progress so that the organisation develops a perfect bunch.

Marketing Communications :

- Establish marketing communication strategy including creating media plans, digital promotions, campaigns thru social media etc.

Marketing Analytics :

- Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends and provide insights for leadership in the areas of market share, sales and pricing analysis, ROI reports on promotional investments and proactive marketing solutions.

Marketing Research :

- Identification of the Market research agencies, derive strategy based on Market research and implement action plan.

Brand Management :

- Work with the team's in the common areas to develop strong brands and look at how to improve the brand equity including establishment of brand books.

Stakeholder Management :

- Identifying & appointment of AD agencies, Media partners for Branding & Promotional activities. Managing Channels, Retailers and consumers to understand market insights.

- Carrying out product trails of newly launched products in terms of customer acceptance, regional specific product fitment etc.

- Gather data from the market, prepare and forward realtime reports in terms of farmer needs for crop enhancement and plant protection solutions and assist product management team is designing product positioning strategy accordingly.

- Identify new and untapped geographies within the region in terms of crops in production and also identify and generate reports in terms of our product fitment in those new areas.

- Strategize, rollout and push our brands into newly identified areas.

- Market intelligence & competitor activity analysis.

- Review and discuss with product management & marketing services teams regarding viability of promotional materials (banners. pamphlets, standees, audio visual tools etc).

- Keeping a track of sales, promotion and collection activities from MDO to RI level.

- Helping sales team in achieving business targets, training the FAs, MDOs and TI as per prevailing season, crops in production and crop protection management

Qualification And Experience :

1. B.Sc./ M.Sc. (Ag) with MBA (Ag) & Having 12-16 years of overall experience in Should be from PESTICIDE industry

2. Experience in developing strong brands.

3. Experience in Cross selling, upselling, product positioning, Creating value proposition. Good at Analysis, planning & people management.

4. Extensive experience in brand, digital marketing, and/or project management in leading cross-functional teams in -delivery of major new products or services in ecommerce, retail, logistics, supply chain, internet products or related fields.

5. Experience identifying customer need gaps, defining brand identity, developing the marketing roadmap for a brand.

6. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features and drive marketing channel wise efficiency.

7. High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal -supervision.

8. Effective communicator with excellent relationship building ability / Out of the box thinker / Strategic / Result oriented
