Job Title: HEAD OF FUNDRAISING

Location: PUNE / MUMBAI

Introduction:

The Shantilal Muttha Foundation (SMF) is a non-profit organization established with an aim to strengthen the public education system and support schools to enrich their capacities for fostering the holistic development of children with emphasis on values-based learning environments and life-skills education. SMF interventions have benefitted over 45,00,000 students, 200,000 teachers and over 70,000 schools across the country so far. The organization is on a mission to ensure that all children get an education that will help them become caring, responsible and productive citizens.

Reason for the hire:

Shantilal Muttha Foundation is expanding its reach, which would entail consulting various different states and their education systems and help them excel in value-based education for a long-lasting social impact, not just at the primary education level but also by engaging at the secondary and senior secondary education level as well. SMF is looking forward to establish itself as a strategic partner to state governments and education ministries, along with being an implementation partner for the same.

SMF is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, and self-driven person, who would like to have a challenging and meaningful career path in the social sector. The incumbent will help them grow their funds and expand their pool of donors. The incumbent will be required to cover the whole spectrum of fundraising duties.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Donor relations and engagement

- Establish CRM system

- CSR Networking, partnerships.

- Proposal, grants and budget lifecycle.

- Support in strategy planning and execution

Must Haves:

- A Post Graduate in Management /Marketing /Social Sciences/Social Work

- 8 to 14 years of professional experience in fundraising, business development, relationship management, and sales.

- Relevant experience of fundraising in the social sector and/or of business development/sales in the business-to-business (B2B) environment.

- Demonstrable track record of strategic fundraising with a proven track record of meeting challenging targets.

- Proven ability to build, manage and develop key stakeholder, client and donor relationships.

- Excellent communication and representational skills; ability to effectively disseminate information to large and diverse groups.

- Willing to travel as required for work requirements.
