Head - Formulations - Beauty/Cosmetics/Skincare/Personal Care

Key Performance Indicators : 

1. Timely market launches of products and market feedback

2. Smooth and robust scale-up of laboratory formulations

3. Meeting cost and quality briefs for products

Key Responsibilities : 

- As overall in charge of formulation development across all product categories, identify unique product opportunities and lead the creation of innovative, efficacious products

- Lead a team of formulation chemists to deliver development projects on time, within cost and first-time- right in terms of manufacturing scale-up

- Establish SOPs for product development, quality assurance and product testing

- Lead troubleshooting of product quality or production issues

- Conceptualize and execute value engineering projects

- Develop a vendor base of top quality, sustainably sourced raw material

Experience & Qualification

Mandatory:

1. At least 15 years experience in personal care formulation development, including at least 3 years in leadership roles

2. Demonstrated ability to bring new product to market

3. Troubleshooting skills

4. Manufacturing experience highly preferred but not mandatory. Scale-up experience is a must

5. Deep interest in and passion for science, laboratory work and seeing products scale up to successes in the market
