Head - Financial Systems - BFSI

The Head of Financial Systems will be responsible for performing various maintenance and system balancing activities for Oracle General Ledger, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and T-Recs. He / She will also be responsible for managing SIAM Finance role profiles for Finance, multiple system monthly audit tasks, Nintex workflow maintenance, T-Recs and General Ledger interface verification.

Responsibilities -

- Responsible for performing daily balancing between Oracle GL and Hyperion (closing, client profitability), average daily balance cubes

- Update Oracle system for project appropriation requests (PAR) values, cost center cross-validation and security rules, Buy to Pay approvers

- Update daily suspense balancing files for Fiserv-First Data activity and identify variances

- Responsible for various audits: SIAM role profiles, SITF/SAM user access and Buy to Pay cost center setup validation

- Primary SIAM support for Finance users. Maintain role profiles, assist users with access requests and approve requests

- Maintain and enhance existing Nintex workflows

- Perform daily T-Recs and General Ledger interface verification

- Publish chart of accounts, allocations and Fiserve-First Data mapping tables on Financial Systems team site

- Perform chart of account maintenance in the General Ledger

Qualification & Experience -

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance

- Minimum of 6 to 10 years Accounting/Finance experience

- 5+ years of experience with large company Hyperion and General Ledger systems (Oracle R12, Peoplesoft and reconciliation tool)

- Software skills - Advanced Excel skills including writing macros and creating models, Application Desktop Integrator (ADI), Hyperion or data warehouse query tool

- Advance query skills

- Ability to manage multiple & varied priorities

- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

- Experience with managing automation and simplification projects
