Hiring for Financial Reporting Head - Shared Services Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Industry : Chemical Experience : 10+ Years Qualification : CA or MBA(Finance) from prestigious institute CTC : 45-70 Lac (CTC is not constraint for right candidates) Job Responsibilities : Objective : - Inspire, motivate, coach and lead the Financial Reporting team and drive operational excellence in service delivery to group companies across Asia Pacific - Ensure on time and accurate closing of financial books, statutory audit activities and implementation of IFRS changes - Drive digital finance transformation and shape future direction of Finance Services in group - Reporting to Head of Shared Services Center in Malaysia and Vice President, Global head of Book to Report (B2R) in Berlin - Represent Asia Pacific in Global Shared Services Organization Job Description : Financial Reporting scope includes : - General Ledger - Financial reporting - Statutory audit co-ordination Leadership Responsibilities : - Inspire, motivate, coach and lead a team of around 50 people consisting of Managers, Senior Analysts and Analysts - Ensure resource strategy is flexible enough to respond to demand variations - Facilitate the training and professional development of the team - Manage costs within budget expenditure guidelines - Service delivery and Process Improvement - Ensure on time and accurate closing of financial books of group companies across Asia Pacific- - Coordinate statutory audit activities - Implement IFRS changes - Understand the existing process and drive improvements to increase process efficiency and effectiveness - Ensure and promote Financial reporting compliance Digital Finance Transformation : - Drive digitalisation in finance services - Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data etc. - Develop and implement future strategy for finance services in group Key stakeholders: - Global, Regional & Country Finance and Controlling teams - Global and Regional counterparts - Internal and statutory auditors, Government agencies, external consultants etc. Requirements : Education : - Professional Certification in Accounting (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or equivalent Working Experience : - Minimum 10 years- experience in finance and accounting function, including 5 years- experience leading a team - Exposure to Shared Services industry and knowledge of Financial Report will be an added advantage - Knowledge and understanding of SAP system and accounting (IFRS) regulations Other Requirements : - Fluent and articulate in English - Strategic, forward looking and solution oriented mindset - Experience or exposure to Digitalization topics like Robotics Process Automation etc.
