HEAD OF FINANCIAL CONSULTING

The Client is looking for an ambitious, roll-your-sleeves-up Head of Financial Consulting with good judgement who can drive one of the company's largest P&Ls as well as manage through a rapid period of growth for the company that is expecting to be 250+ team members in the next 12-18 months.

- Client is a market leader in providing end-to-end market entry support to international organization's seeking to enter to build a presence in key emerging markets. Client has built its reputation designing and implementing successful market entry and business development strategies for a range of blue chip international clients and world leading educational institutions in India. They provide support at every step of a clients- journey, from the early stages where they are considering India as a new market, through to supporting the local activities of their employees once they are locally established.

- In India, they serve over 250 international clients from 13 different countries. They serve a range of companies from FTSE 100 / Fortune 500, to SMEs, start-ups, governments, trade bodies and universities and colleges. their year on year client retention rate is over 90% and are currently experiencing 65% year-on-year growth.

This is a Leadership Position within the business and will report into the Group CFO, Director of Financial Consulting as well as the General Manager - India.

1. Team Leadership

- Managing a team and ensuring efficient & timely recording and maintenance of accounts in respect of all transactions

2. Operations :

- Responsible for clients accounting and payroll back office functions

- Managing on boarding process of setting up operations, and local office in India as per strict adherence to clients- delivery processes in accounting, payroll and tax services, Managing direct and indirect tax regulatory compliance of foreign companies having Indian subsidiaries,

3. Manage, support and expand financial consulting service line

- Support Sr. Manager Finance and Director of Financial Consulting for expansion of Financial Consulting Services including: Strategic manpower planning, IT infrastructure requirements, and Management of divisional budget.

4. Accounts management

- Responsible for performance of client projects and ensuring up to date records of financial accounts and fortnightly reporting to Director of Financial Consulting

5. Getting the Word Out Strategic Sales & Marketing Initiatives

- Network to articulate Financial Consulting Services to prospective clients; and participate in webinars, trade shows, events, delegations and client visits in India.

Desired Candidate Profile :

Must haves :

- 4+ years of experience of in a client advisory/consulting role

- Experience working at some multinational companies and in foreign business

- Experience managing a team of 15+

- Advisory - Experience in financial, accounting, payroll and tax consulting

- Operations - Experience managing and developing accounting, tax & reporting systems and processes

Preferred :

- Experience in sales or marketing

- Previous experience of working for 3-4 years with similar service provider

- Previous history of managing Indian subsidiaries of foreign clients and international businesses
