Head - Finance Testing/Software Testing

Role Purpose:

The Head of Global Finance Testing leads the Testing Centres of excellence based out of GFC Gurgaon and Hyderabad, and:

1. build, coach and manage pools of testing resources, specifically test analysts, test managers, automation analysts, and test architects providing consulting services

2. staff and manage test projects to service GFCP (Global Finance Change Programme) test projects

3. maintain and deploy GFT Test best practices and standards across GFCP

4. define and develop with Global and Regional Business Partners their strategic use of GFT

5. define and develop strategies for GFT in GFC

The individual will work with all global and regional stakeholders within GFCP, from IT teams to business users, dealing with senior and operational levels of management.

Operational Effectiveness & Control

Drive and manage strong controls to ensure compliance with GFT Test Process Architecture (TPA) on all test projects where GFT is providing execution and consulting services

Ensure that strong controls and procedures exist and are embedded in GFT best practices

Co-ordinate timing and monitors quality of information received to ensure focused and relevant reporting to internal and external audience

Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with GFT standards and quality of testing

Build up the capability of the management team, Test execution Managers and Test Architects, so that they can drive change and deploy best practices and standard GFT framework in an environment where testing is following different benchmarks

Being able to swiftly get involved in all projects in scope and understand risks and priorities to define test strategies

Being able to drive change in global and regional organizations currently leading testing strategies and testing teams, to implement best practices and leverage GFT strategically.
