The Head of Finance role requires a good hands on experience on the multiple financial considerations of setting up a Digital Business, Operationalizing it and running it with a clear governance model supported by a high level of predictability. - This role will require synergizing with the Regional / Group Finance and local Business teams and will be oriented around managing the accounting, supporting with the financial analysis associated with various business models, RFPs, Proposals, etc and play the role of a strategic business partner - On a day to day basis monitor the financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions, support the build of the various standard and customized business models, manage the financial analysis for various Client facing proposals, build financial predictability with the needed checks and balances. - Participate as a member of the India management team to ensure sound, data-driven decisions. Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the region including profit and loss reports, and monitoring of regional and cash flow budgets. Manage and oversee various relationships with HQ financial partners, including Financial Planning &amp; Analysis, Strategic Pricing &amp; - Planning, Accounting, Financial Operations, and Financial Applications. Participate in developing new products and markets by assisting in identifying new opportunities and managing all aspects of financial assessment including ROI, IRR, and cash flow analysis. - Region and City P&amp;L planning - you will be primary point of contact for all things finance for the region cities (including forecasting, goal setting, modeling support) - Help us scale efficiently - we'll always move fast, but evolving our planning processes and ensuring finance best practices spread through the organization - The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience in managing the financial set up for a start up or existing operations for a Digital co. Requirements - MBA in Finance/ CA/ CFA 3/ Masters in a quantitative field with excellent academic record from one of the Tier 1 institutions like IIM/ ISB/ IIT etc. - Significant functional competence, and credible leadership experience, playing both operational and strategic roles in the finance arena. Investment banking or private equity experience a plus - Strong background and experience in A/R, A/P, Accounting, FP&amp;A, Tax and Procurement - Ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency - Think strategically and then execute - the models we build aid in decision making and strategy - Top-notch communication and people skills - numbers are key, but a business is built with people. Relationship building and adept communication are assets in our fast-moving environment - Working experience on operationalization of Financial Set ups for a Digital Start up would be an added advantage In addition, you should: - Have a background in Telecommunications domain, API Business Management, with relevant experience with a vendor or a Start Up or a Telco - Experience in SOA, EDA, and enterprise middleware business propositions would be an advantage - Systems - working knowledge of enterprise-level financial planning systems - Self-starter - we don't have time or desire to micro-manage. You will take initiative, be proactive, set and drive toward goals - Team player - this is a highly collaborative and supportive team environment - Have the ability to travel overseas
