- Set clear strategic vision to create a Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Gurgaon for non-India related Accounting work, and ensure it is clearly communicated and approved by key stakeholders. Be ultimately responsible for the service management framework and the delivery of services.

- Hire and train a brand new team and in doing so create a Centre of excellence within Gurgaon for the Accounting function

- Be responsible for day-to-day accounting work including reconciliations, P&L etc.

- Be responsible for ensuring that all legal, regulatory and statutory process requirements are met across all countries for processes and activities carried out in the SSC.

- Effectively manage transition of work/projects from international business units to India. Ensure all deliverables continue to be met and are as per agreed finance transaction processes.

- Ensure consistency and commonality of the processes and service delivery regardless of where the activity will be performed.

- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.

- Collaborate and effectively manage relationship within the global accounting team and with Tower's stakeholders and business managers.

- Oversee implementation of strategic initiatives and demonstrate ability to deliver through partnership with other key groups including Internal Operations, Legal, Compliance and Trading Teams.

- Liaise with outside counsel, auditors, and accounting firms as necessary.

- Assist in many ad hoc and special projects.

Qualifications & Experience :

- A bachelor's degree with at least ten years of experience within hedge fund or financial services accounting, including international work experience.

- CPA, CA or equivalent certification required

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

- Experience in setting up or migrating a department or function from one location to another (desirable)

- Knowledge of QuickBooks (desirable)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong attention to detail

- The capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Leadership and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals and to manage and motivate team members towards the goals set.
