JOB DESCRIPTION

Role - Head Finance

Location: Bangalore

Education - CA (2000 -2003 )

Experience - 10-12 yrs

SUMMARY

- Overall responsibility for finance function of business including interactions with central teams Group Accounts, Taxation & Compliance, Inventory, Legal, Treasury, Corporate MIS, Central and Regional Commercial

- Provide relevant financial guidance to the categories within the Business through detailed insights and analysis on consumer spending patterns and product and competitor performance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Finance Function -

- Provide the season wise/monthly OTB as needed

- Analyze the movement of stock from Warehouse to floor and their sales performance. Ensure PO is raised on time, timely delivery of merchandise and availability of merchandise at the store

- Provide Sell Thru analysis and Hit ratio analysis to the business

- Provide pre and post promotion analysis to the business head, buying heads and Vice President-Finance

- PFRs for new stores

Financial/ Budgetary control

- Prepare budget for business

- Budgetary control for key KPI’s ( Sell thru, Net Margin, Markdown, SPF, MPF, EBITA, LFL growth & NOD)

- Manage revenue assurance- SKU level margin checks

- Provide EOSS discounting guidelines to the regional team. Approve and control the mark downs

- Design, implement and ensure adherence to all business SOPs

Planning / MIS and Reporting

- Provide sales reports, group/sub group reports and monthly MIS to Business Heads

- Responsibility to close books of accounts in liaison with Group Accounts, report and handle internal and statutory audit of Splash business

People Management

- Organize and structure team to scale up to business requirements

- Build, motivate and train the team to meet and exceed performance expectations
