Head - Finance - Manufacturing - CA

The role will be based in Mombasa (Kenya) for a Business Group with major operations in Kenya, Tanzania

The key roles of the Segment Finance Head are as follows - 

1.1. To provide a bridge and align Group Finance Strategy and Business Strategy.

1.2. To align and standardise all Finance policies, processes and procedures within the Business Segment.

1.3. To provide functional leadership and supervision to the Finance Heads in the respective operations making up the Business Segment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - 

- The below key responsibility areas are critical when interacting with senior management within the Business Segment and Operations.

- Assist the Group in framing objectives, policies and procedures relating to the function (to the extent such policies are non-existent)

- Assist in implementation of the policies & procedures; monitor compliance and progress

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE - 

- Qualification: Chartered accountant (First or 2nd attempt)

- General work experience (years): 15 years in Accounting profession

- Specific to the position (level/discipline/years)- 5 years in the senior management role

- Industry: Heavy Manufacturing Industry
