Head of Finance for a Global Company

A global company is looking for a incumbent with 15+ years of experience with in depth knowledge in the area of business finance, accounting, tax, regulatory, legal oversight.

Specific Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Business Finance

- Develop financial strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction

- Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information and insights. Make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations

- Review and monitor the financial performance of the organization against the annual financial plan; tracks all MIS and reports as per business requirements

- Manage capital budgets

2. Accounting & Treasury

- Takes overall responsibility for implementation of annual plans for Accounts & Taxation, Creation and maintenance of appropriate internal controls

- Oversee long term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with our strategic plan

- Establishes frameworks / process for empanelling, managing and contracting vendors with the aim of optimizing cost as well as ensuring quality service; oversees the procurement operationalization process in line with the guidelines defined

- Manage and efficiently make use of the treasury

3. Regulatory & Compliance

- Takes overall responsibility for adherence to and compliance with all applicable Acts/ regulations/ statutory requirements across Geographies

- Deep knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS

4. Legal & Audit Oversite

- Develops a robust internal audit framework and defines audit policies

5. Technology

- Evaluate and implement ERP and other financial tools

6. Team Management

- Develop and mentor a direct team managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation and building an effective and dynamic team

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Premier B-school graduate with 15+ years of experience

- Strategic bend of mind

- Efficient in carrying out the tactical role of accounting, tax, compliance and regulatory

- Treasury Management

- Legal oversight

- Should be ambitious and high on integrity
