Position Profile : Head Finance
Reporting to : Managing Director
Inter-linkages : Head Manufacturing, Head Sales
Qualification and Experience :
- CA/MBA finance with about 5 years post qualification experience in accounting systems and financial policies and procedures
- Must have a strong track record in either/or a manufacturing company
Competencies :
- Have a strategic financial outlook and ability to drive process/systemic changes
- Thorough knowledge of financial modelling and tools
- Through knowledge of Indian and International accounting systems, compliance and corporate governance
- Strong planning, analytical ability and knowledge of having worked on ERP based integrated financial tools and modules
- Ability to train, develop and lead a team; manage conflicts within and outside the function
- Good communication skills and persuasive abilities to handle internal and external customers
- Promote appreciation and integration of cross functional priorities and requirements
- Knowledge of innovative Financing Structures and Funding Mechanisms will serve as an added advantage for the applicant
Job Description :
- Ensure timely strategic and operational financial planning
- Plan, develop and control organizational budgets
- Monitor cash flow movement and ensure funds availability as per company's needs
- Responsible for monitoring receivables and payables across the various business verticals and corporate office
- Responsible for the entire treasury and banking needs of the organization
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all organizational functions
- Undertake regular financial analysis to evaluate profitability of income streams, and potential for cost efficiencies
- Ensure timely availability of accurate data to internal, external and statutory auditors
- Ensure compliance with all (financial) statutory requirements and regulations
- Managing the internal audit function to strengthen the policies, processes and performance ethic in the organization
- Ensure proper planning and implementation of MIS within the organization utilizing the ERP implemented by the organization
- Responsible for identifying new business areas in which the company can diversify and ensuring the initial hand holding of the business
- Responsible for the development and growth of business in related and allied product categories
- Train, develop and empower team members so that they are well equipped to fulfil current expectations and meet emerging challenges
