Head - Finance - FMCD/FMCG

We have an opportunity with a exciting startup into high end consumer products with head office in Delhi. They have presence in India, Australia, New Zealand and the UAE.

About Role:

Client is looking for an experienced finance professional preferably a chartered accountant who can head our finance charter, set financial goals for the company and help us attain them through effective planning, execution and compliance adherence. Someone with relevant experience in a consumer business having an omni-channel presence is preferred.

Job role:

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, corporate accounting , A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, regulatory and financial reporting , budget and forecasts preparation, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition

- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management and stakeholders

- Lead and mentor the accounting team and foster a collaborative work environment

- Prepare reports as required for Audit Committee, Executive Committee and Board meetings; prepare quarterly consolidated accounts; ensure compliance of financials with IAS/IFRS accounting standards and ensure that tax and regulatory payments, returns and filing are up to date and compliant.

- Manage the finance function across revenue assurance, general accounting, FP&A, banking, direct & indirect taxation and MIS.

- Helping the organisation in raising funds (debt and equity), management of funds and due-diligence.
