Head - Finance - Education

We are executing the search for Head Finance for a large Education Group - a leading operator of K-12 Institutions Pan India.

Position - Head Finance

Location - Bangalore

Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant / Master's Degree in Finance (credible institution)

- Accounting with strong Accounting experience.

- More than 10 years' experience in Finance Controller role.

- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP and financial reporting.

- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.

- Knowledge of central and state government financial regulations.

- Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.

- Expertise in financial due diligence for new acquisitions.

- Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and financial analysis.

- Ability to motivate teams to manage efficiently financial health of the school and corporate accounts.

Responsibilities:

- Direct financial planning and budget management functions

- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance

- Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against budget

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and central budgetary reporting requirements

- Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department (corporate and schools)

- Manage the preparation of all financial reports

- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

- Financial Due diligence for new school acquisitions
