Finance Head (D2C Start up)

We are seeking a Finance Head (AVP) to join a dynamic team with a leading Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Startup Company based out in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial forecasts. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgeted targets.

- Financial Planning and Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, providing insights and recommendations to drive business performance improvement.

- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential financial risks. Implement effective risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the financial health of the organization.

- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments to understand their financial needs and provide strategic financial guidance. Collaborate on cross-functional projects to achieve overall business objectives.

- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team (inhouse and KPMG). Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant. MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred. Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, with experience in strategic financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
