Head - Finance Consolidation - IT/ITeS - CA

Role : Consolidated Financial Statements under IFRS and IndAS with detailed notes to accounts for Statutory Reporting and Internal Reporting

Designation: General Manager

Location: Bangalore, India. Should be willing to travel domestic and international

Qualification: Chartered Accountant with 5-10 years of relevant experience

Shift timings: The role is Global and the candidate should be flexible to interact with all stakeholders across globe and stretch during month ends and audits

Role Dimensions:

The role is an integral part of the organization's overall strategy towards building Center of Excellence and creating Shared Services.

The specific responsibilities in this role would be the following:

- Candidate should have experience in Financial Reporting and Global consolidation on a monthly basis under IFRS and IndAS.

- Should have exposure to all the Accounting Standard requirements under IFRS and IndAS

- Should have handled Mergers and De-Mergers under IFRS and IndAS

- Should have hands on experience on Lease Accounting

- Follow month close procedures and finalise Trial Balance

- Ensure delivery of P&L and Balance Sheets with schedules

- Should have hands on experience in Disclosures and Independently prepare notes to accounts

- Should have experience in creating legal entity structure in a consolidation set up

- Should be able to strategise pushdown entries where required and guide various teams across globe to pass correct entries.

- Should have exposure to IFRS audits performed by Big 6

- Should be familiar with the concept of Cost Center and Profit Center

- Ensure delivery of monthly MIS (consolidated results) with variance analysis

- Available at all times during the working hours to take calls and resolve queries

- Follow Internal Controls and ensure Financial Reporting is accurate (ICFR). Exposure to SOX is desirable. Ensure and evidence all supporting documents on ICFR relating to Consolidation.

- Ensure smooth audits be it internal, statutory or specific audits

- Focus on bringing automation to enhance working experience of teams at high level of accuracy and seamless experience

- Handle a team of experienced accountants in multiple tenure

Desired Knowledge, skills and attitudes:

The ideal candidate should have

- Excellent Accounting knowledge under IFRS and IndAS

- Good Excel and PPT skills

- Experience in ERP. Exposure to SAP or Workday is desired.

- Should have managed teams

- Experience in interacting with global teams

- Hands-on experience in managing mature stakeholder management

- Excellent team skills and ability to collaborate in a matrix organizational structure

- Highly Tech savvy
