Head - Finance & Company Secretary - FinTech/BFSI

Fintech Company looking for Head of Finance & Company Secretary based out of Mumbai.

- Assessing financial risks and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and board.

- Leading the organization to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve performance, and enhance competitive advantage.

- Developing financial strategies by forecasting capital requirements; identifying monetary resources and developing action plans

- Monitoring financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions and minimizing the impact of variances.

- Leading continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial objectives and offers recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

- Presenting financial reports to the executive team and board of directors.

- Conducting in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

- Implementing effective treasury and cash management policies and procedures.

- Supervising the Company Secretary function, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations. Overseeing the maintenance of statutory records, board meeting processes, and corporate governance practices.

- Acting as a liaison between the executive team and the board of directors, facilitating effective communication.

Applicants should possess the following attributes:

- A full time CA /CMA /MBA with experience in broad range of finance domains with minimum of 16 years' experience.

- Working knowledge of how to raise capital outside traditional lines of credit

- Proven financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Experience in optimizing financial performance and managing profitability in the credit card business.

- Strategic mindset with the ability to align financial goals with overall business strategy and contribute to long-term growth and sustainability.

- Understanding of technological advancements in industry, including digital payments, mobile banking, and data analytics.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common business goals
