Position: Finance Head

Company Overview: a prominent player in the commodities industry based in Dubai, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Head to lead and oversee the entire finance function. As a key member of our leadership team, the Finance Head will play a crucial role in shaping and executing financial strategies to drive the company's success.

Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.

- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.

Financial Management:

- Supervise and manage the entire finance function, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and compliance with relevant regulations.

Risk Management:

- Identify and assess potential financial risks and implement measures to mitigate them.

- Monitor market trends and economic indicators to anticipate and address potential challenges.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative working environment within the finance department.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Collaborate with executive leadership to provide timely and insightful financial analyses.

- Communicate financial results and trends to internal and external stakeholders.

Process Improvement:

- Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.

- Cash flow management

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is highly desirable.

- Proven experience as a Finance Head or in a senior finance leadership role within the commodities industry.

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.

- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
