CA with 10-18 years of experience  Expert understanding of the following :   - Relatively complex businesses with the ability to manage at least two business entities simultaneously  - Stays abreast with local and international industry practices financial management systems - accounting, compliance - statutory, regulatory, banking, taxation (IT, Excise, VAT, Transfer pricing)  - Expert understanding of Finance module of SAP  Experience : Approx. 10+ years- experience including global exposure in Finance. Experience in Manufacturing Industry is must.   - Leads overall Finance operations a smaller company in the group / multiple foreign subsidiaries managing from India covering the entire gamut of areas such as taxation, accounts management, compliance.  Level Specific Accountabilities :  Business Advisory :  - Ensures timely budget preparation for each of the Company in charge  - Provides financial advice customized to the company in-charge to prepare long-term and short-term strategy  - Advises senior leadership on the best approach to resolve any discrepancies in customer/vendor account for the company in charge; Seeks inputs from senior level in case of complex issues  Stakeholder management:  - Engages with stakeholders of all the departments of each of the company in charge for compliance, audit, advisory and monitoring of budget  - Assists in resolution of relatively complex issues from internal and external stakeholders for the company; May seek support from senior level/corporate finance on more complex issues  Compliance  - Guides the team timely statutory payments such as ROC, sales tax, IT for the companies in-charge  - Assists in routine audits and monthly closing of accounts of ERP systems of companies in-charge  Team management/development:  - Provides direction to individuals handling various portfolios in company in-charge;   - Ensures sufficient training and development of junior team members of the company in charge to be able to handle their portfolio within finance effectively  Improvements  - Seeks inputs from higher level on best practices along with external research to suit the context of the company  Scope of Decision Making:  - Functions independently with overarching guidance from business/management/CFO  - Takes proactive measures to define and improve financial practices within the company   - Resolves complex financial issues with limited number of variables; Seeks guidance from senior level for highly complex issues
