One of our client a leading conglomerate in the manufacturing segment is looking for Head Finance & Business Strategy in Chennai.

Job Description:

- Support and implement the growth plans by providing timely financial inputs to the Head of Finance by monitoring contribution, directing and monitoring financial strategy including financial planning/modelling, maintaining processes, systems and controls that facilitate the achievement of overall business objectives.

- Head the Financial Planning responsibilities for their Abrasives Division which forms the 40% of the Company's turnover of 800Cr.

- Prepare and coordinate financial and economic data relating to short and long-range planning, i.e., forecasting, budgeting, business planning.

- Advise the business on the financial consequences of business decisions; including various alternatives, pricing, R&D initiatives, cost of localisation, resourcing etc. to improve profitability and financial understanding of the business team.

- Develops and presents cash flow analysis for business decisions.

- Maintaining investor relations by addressing all queries/doubts, furnishing reports and data as required and promoting business strengths

- Ensuring all books of accounts and financial statements are prepared accurately and filed on-time; generating requisite reports on same and circulating it to relevant stakeholders

- Maintain compliance to safeguard company's interests by coordinating with Auditors, prepare quarterly and annual reports, necessary notes to Accounts and disclosures as required for the SEBI.

- Escalate key issues appropriately and manage time schedules of Audit.

- Ensure logical presentation and comparison of facts to the Audit Committee, Business Committee and the Board
